1. There is a large empty white space after the 6th item; how to remove that?

you may download the updated theme from where you purchased it before. use your email id to log in from which you purchased it.
To redirect the read more to another page Go to dashboard > appearance > customize > home section > featured section > paste the link on the button link tab and enter the read more button text on the button tab then click on publish.
