    Hi Steve,
    To change theme color, kindly Go to >> Appearance >> Customize >> General Configuration >> Colors.
    there is a third option for theme primary color.You can easily change it.

    you just need to go to appearance >> customize >> General configuration.
    then there is fourth option header image . you can easily change the header background
